Former NXT star Timothy Thatcher has commented on his relationship with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H.
After transitioning into a backstage role at the Performance Center, Thatcher was released from his WWE contract during the January cuts.
With Triple H now overseeing creative, some have speculated that Thatcher will eventually return to WWE full-time.
Speaking with Nick Hausman for Wrestling Inc, Thatcher praised Triple H, noting that he and The Game had a professional relationship.
Discussing a potential return, Thatcher said:
“His and I relationship was obviously a boss and employee relationship while we were there. He’s a very nice man and he’s been very kind to me.”
“Once you leave a place, that’s in the past now and if our paths cross again, then we’ll have conversations again. But he’s got a lot on his plate now, especially since he’s in charge of the whole thing.
“That’s quite the undertaking now that he has to do. So he doesn’t need to be hearing from me.”
Thatcher has been wrestling for Pro Wrestling NOAH since June.
He recently reigned with the GHC Tag Team Championship with Hideki Suzuki, only losing the gold to Takashi Sugiura & Satoshi Kojima in September.
