Ronda Rousey Wins SmackDown Women’s Championship At WWE Extreme Rules WWE

Tonight’s Extreme Rules premium live event featured a card of only six matches, two of which were championship matches, but that didn’t stop a championship change from taking place on the show.

The opening match of the show was a Good Old Fashioned Donnybrook match, which saw the Brawling Brutes pick up the win over Imperium in a banger (after banger).

The next match was an Extreme Rules match for the SmackDown Women’s Championship, with champion Liv Morgan defending her title against Ronda Rousey in the third encounter between the two.

The match saw a great many weapons used, including a baseball bat, a steel chair, a table and even the belt from Ronda Rousey’s gi, but Ronda’s arms were the only weapon she needed, locking in an Armbar, with Liv passing out, crowning Rousey the SmackDown Women’s Champion for the second time in her career.

Morgan won the championship from Rousey after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract back at the Money in the Bank premium live event in July.
