A title change took place during the chaotic main event of tonight’s AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru episode.

Tonight’s AEW Dynamite Spring BreakThru episode was a historic night for AEW, with the show now officially the longest running weekly wrestling show on Turner Broadcasting.

The show was headlined by an AEW World Trios Championship match, with the Opps set to challenge the Death Riders for the titles, but a number of changes had been made to the match beforehand.

Injuries to both PAC and HOOK led to replacement members of each team, with Jon Moxley filling in for PAC, while Powerhouse Hobbs filled in for HOOK.

The match was very chaotic, with Willow Nightingale first making an appearance to combat Marina Shafir at ringside.

Later, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson of the Young Bucks came out to the ramp, but their interference was quickly foiled by Swerve Strickland, who took both Bucks out with a Swerve Stomp.

Ultimately, Samoa Joe was able to lock Jon Moxley in the Coquina Clutch, choking out the AEW World Champion and winning he, Shibata and Hobbs the Trios Championship.

After their victory, the babyface members of the locker room came to the ring to celebrate with the new champs.
