Title Change On WWE Raw

There was a championship change during tonight’s ‘Championship Monday’ edition of WWE Monday Night Raw on the USA Network.

R-Truth was scheduled to defend his 24/7 Title against Akira Tozawa, but an angry Bobby Lashley laid waste to Tozawa’s gaggle of ninjas and Truth, leaving Truth down in the ring.

One man Lashley didn’t attack though was Akira Tozawa, who slid into the ring and pinned Truth to win the title.

Tozawa has reigned as 24/7 Champion once in the past, pinning R-Truth on December 23, but then losing it to Santa Claus on the same day.

This brings an end to Truth’s 36th 24/7 Title reign, with him having held the title since the June 1 episode of Raw when he pinned Rob Gronkowski in his own backyard.
