Title Change Takes Place On WWE NXT

A title change took place on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT following this past weekend’s Battleground premium live event.

In recent weeks, tensions have escalated between Ethan Page and Ricky Saints on WWE NXT television.

On last week’s show, NXT General Manager Ava announced that the two men would face off for the North American Championship on tonight’s episode of NXT.

At Battleground, the two men ended up being a part of a brawl, which led to Ava announcing that the title match between the two men would kick off tonight’s episode of NXT.

Before the match, Ethan Page jumped Ricky Saints, with the two unable to be contained, as Ava came out and said that there needed to be a winner between the two.

In the end, Ethan Page hit a Cutter on Ricky Saints onto a steel chair on the outside, before eventually putting him down with Twisted Grin to capture the North American Championship.
