A title change took place at tonight’s WWE Money In The Bank premium live event in Los Angeles, California.
The 2025 WWE Money In The Bank event took place tonight, with five matches taking place on the event, which included two championship matches.
One of the title matches saw Becky Lynch once again challenge Lyra Valkyria for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
Becky came up short against Lyra back at Backlash, with this match having the stipulation where Becky would no longer be able to challenge Lyra if she lost, but Lyra would have to raise Becky’s hand if she lost.
In the end, Becky ended up picking up the victory, grabbing a handful of tights on a roll up to win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time.
After the match, Lyra did raise Becky’s arm, putting the title around her waist before dropping her with a German Suplex.
Valkyria had held the title for 145 days after becoming inaugural champion on the January 13 episode of WWE Raw in a tournament final against Dakota Kai and reigning since then until tonight.
