Title Change On WWE NXT

There has been a title change during tonight’s November 25 Gold Rush night two special episode of WWE NXT in New York.

Tonight’s show was taped in advance last week at The Theater in Madison Square Garden after night one of Gold Rush aired on the CW Network.

In a title change tonight, the TNA Knockouts World Championship changed hands in the three-way match between Jordynne Grace, Lei Ying Lee and defending champion Kelani Jordan.

The title is officially back with a TNA Wrestling talent, as Lee, formerly known as Xia Li in WWE, picked up the win.

Kelani Jordan had been champion since TNA Victory Road on September 26, putting her reign at 53 days – or 60 if the week tape delay is included.

At Victory Road, Jordan defeated Lee in a singles match to crown a new champion after Ash By Elegance announced she had to vacate the title.

The win marks Lee’s first title win in either WWE or TNA, having been with WWE from 2017 to 2024, and then with TNA since a few months after her WWE release.

This title change also means all TNA titles are held by TNA talents right now and no-one from WWE or NXT, which has been something of a rarity over the past few months.
