On a night that has seen Seth Rollins vacate the World Heavyweight Championship, there has been another title change on WWE Raw.
After the opening segment with the announcement regarding Rollins, the first match of the night was for the World Tag Team Championship.
Judgment Day members Finn Balor and JD McDonagh put their title on the line against AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.
Balor and McDonagh won the championship from New Day back in June, and this was only there second title defense.
Their first and only defense prior to tonight came against Latino World Order members Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro in July, so they’d hadn’t defended for three months.
The defense tonight would end up being an unsuccessful one, as AJ Styles and Dragon Lee scored the win to become the World Tag Team Championship.
This marks the second time Styles has been a tag team champion in WWE, with the other time being alongside Omos in 2021. For Dragon Lee, this is his first title win on the main roster and first time as a tag team champion.
AJ Styles will be retiring from in-ring action in 2026.
