Title Change On WWE Raw WWE

There was a title change during tonight’s June 30 episode of WWE Raw taking place in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Back at WrestleMania in April, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of New Day defeated the War Raiders – Erik and Ivar – to win the World Tag Team Championship.

Since then, New Day had only defended the title twice before tonight – once in a rematch against the War Raiders, and once in a three-way against the War Raiders and the Creed Brothers.

Their third defense tonight came against Finn Balor and JD McDonagh of Judgment Day, and it wasn’t a successful one for Kingston and Woods.

With the crowd behind Balor and McDonagh, the Judgment Day duo managed to pick up the win and become World Tag Team Champions.

The Judgment Day now have hold of the World Tag Team Championship with Balor and McDonagh, the Intercontinental Championship with Dominik Mysterio, and the Women’s Tag Team Championship, which is still technically held by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez, although Morgan’s half of the title is expected to be passed on to Roxanne Perez due to Morgan suffering a shoulder injury.

This marks the second time Balor and McDonagh have been World Tag Team Champions together, with their previous reign coming in June 24 to December 16, 2024.

Balor also previously held tag team gold twice with Damian Priest in the earlier days of Judgment Day in 2023.

Over on SmackDown, the current WWE Tag Team Champions are the Street Profits, who have been champions since March 14.
