A title change took place in the main event of tonight’s episode of WWE Raw in Boston following Saturday Night’s Main Event.
On last week’s show, it was announced that Finn Balor and JD McDonagh would defend their World Tag Team Championship on tonight’s episode of Raw against the War Raiders.
Balor was in action at Saturday Night’s Main Event last weekend, where he and Damian Priest were defeated in a Triple Threat match by World Heavyweight Champion Gunther, and the bad luck continued for Balor tonight.
In the main event of the show, Balor and McDonagh attempted to use a steel chair on the War Raiders behind the referee’s back, but Damian Priest appeared to prevent it.
The War Raiders would go on to hit War Machine on Finn Balor, pinning him to capture the championship, ending the Judgment Day’s run with the belts.
This marks the second Tag Team Championship reign for the War Raiders on the WWE main roster, with them first becoming Raw Tag Team Champions back in 2019.
THEY DID IT!!!! 👏👏👏
