Another championship change took place to close out tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown in Barcelona, Spain.
WWE kicked off it’s three week European tour tonight, when SmackDown took place in Barcelona, Spain.
Advertised for the show was a WWE Tag Team Championship match, with the champions DIY defending the belts against the Street Profits following the Profits’ return at the Royal Rumble.
The title match closed out tonight’s show in Barcelona, with the Street Profits picking up the victory over DIY to capture the WWE Tag Team Championship.
This victory marked the first time in four years that the Profits have captured tag team gold in WWE, with them last being SmackDown Tag Team Champions back in early 2021.
This was the second straight week that a title change closed out SmackDown, with LA Knight defeating Shinsuke Nakamura for the United States Championship on last week’s show.
Tonight’s show also featured two vignettes, seemingly hyping the arrival of Rey Fenix and Aleister Black, respectively.
