More matches have been announced for the December 30 edition of SmackDown, the final WWE TV show of 2022.
As was previously announced, John Cena will make his in-ring return on the show, teaming with Kevin Owens to face off against Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens.
With this bout, Cena will keep an impressive streak alive, as he will have wrestled at least one match every year since his WWE SmackDown debut in 2002.
A SmackDown Women’s Championship bout has also been announced for the show, with Ronda Rousey set to defend her gold against Raquel Rodriguez.
On the December 23 episode, Rodriguez won a gauntlet match to become the #1 contender to Rousey’s gold.
Sheamus is also set for action on the upcoming show, against Solo Sikoa of the Bloodline.
Here’s the updated lineup for next week’s edition of SmackDown:
– Roman Reigns & Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens & John Cena
– Ronda Rousey vs. Raquel Rodriguez: SmackDown Women’s Championship
– Solo Sikoa vs. Sheamus
