Title Match Added To AEW: Fyter Fest

AEW has announced a TNT Championship Match for Fyter Fest. At the end of tonight’s Dynamite, Jake Hager attacked Cody to set up a match at Fyter Fest.

It seems we’re getting Cody vs. Hager for the TNT Championship Match at Fyter Fest. However, Cody is still planning on defending the title on next week’s show. We don’t know who he is going to face as of now.

Tonight’s match featured Cody vs. Marq Quen. Cody picked up the win by working over Quen’s kayfabe injured ankle. He ultimately made Quen tap out.

After the match, Hager came down to the ring and attacked Arn Anderson. Cody stepped in to save Anderson, but Hager got the advantage.

Hager was beating down Cody when Private Party and Matt Hardy came down to the ring to make the save. The angle didn’t go very smoothly from this point on.

Eventually, the group ran Hager off only for him to come back out with Inner Circle. The two groups of four would fight until Inner Circle retreated.

Cody grabbed the mic and said Hager must want a TNT Title Match. Cody agrees and they will face at Fyter Fest.

Every title will be on the line at Fyter Fest. As of now, we know Jon Moxley will defend the AEW Championship against Brian Cage.

Kenny Omega and Hangman Page are currently set to face The Best Friends. However, the Best Friends are putting their title shot on the line against Le Sex Gods next week.

Fyter Fest is shaping up to be a good card. However, the Cody and Hager match build wasn’t the best we’ve seen so far.
