A TNA Wrestling star is set to challenge for a WWE championship at an upcoming premium live event amid the ongoing partnership.
Current TNA X-Division Champion Moose made his first-ever WWE appearance on last week’s episode of NXT, where he confronted NXT Champion Oba Femi.
Moose said that a match between himself and Oba had to happen, with Oba responding that it would happen.
Oba would then show up on TNA Impact following the segment, where he fought off Moose and the System, with Oba set to team with the Hardys against Moose, Brian Myers and Eddie Edwards of the System on next week’s TNA show.
However, on tonight’s NXT show, Moose defended the TNA X-Division Championship against Lexis King, when Oba came to the ring, confronting Moose, announcing that he would defend the NXT Championship against Moose at WWE Roadblock at the Theater in Madison Square Garden.
A big champion vs. champion match is seemingly also set for the show, which you can see here.
