WWE/TNA
A current TNA Wrestling star has teased forming a tag team with a current WWE star following a recent team on television.
TNA X-Division Champion Leon Slater made his debut for WWE two weeks ago, where he teamed up with Je’von Evans to defeat Shawn Spears and Niko Vance of the Culling.
Leon and Je’von are set to face off at TNA Bound For Glory, but with the ongoing partnership between promotions, could we see the two team up more frequently in the future?
Speaking to WhatCulture Wrestling, Slater teased potentially teaming more with Je’von in the future, as well as them potentially taking the TNA or NXT Tag Team Championship from the Hardy Boyz.
He said:
“If you told me this question a year ago I would have told you absolutely no way, it’s not possible. But in 2025 I truly believe anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling, so I don’t think it’s a far off take to say that me and Je’von could win the tag belts.
“Maybe we just win it off the Hardys, I feel like that would be a match a lot of people would love to see. The founders vs. the innovators, that would be an extremely fun match, and I’m down for it man.”
