TNA Wrestling Star ‘Heartbroken’ Following Shock WWE Heel Turn

TNA Wrestling Star ‘Heartbroken’ Following Shock WWE Heel Turn WWE, TNA

A TNA Wrestling star has said they are “heartbroken” after seeing their former teammate turn on them on this week’s WWE NXT.

In a moment that very few ever saw coming, former WWE NXT North American Champion Wes Lee turned heel on his teammates in The Rascalz at NXT’s Great American Bash event (August 6).

The turn took place after Lee and Zachary Wentz failed to recapture the NXT Tag Team Championships from Axiom and Nathan Frazer – over two years since they were forced to vacate them.

When Wentz and Trey Miguel were consoling Lee after the bell, Lee snapped and brutally attacked both his former partners.

Now, the day after the turn took place both Wentz and Miguel have commented on Lee’s actions via Twitter.

Miguel reacted to a post from WWE regarding the turn by simply writing “broken”, while Wentz would have more to say – revealing he was “heartbroken” and still loved Lee despite his actions.

Wentz wrote:

I don’t even know what to say right now.

Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe it.

I still love you brother.
