TNA Wrestling Champions Discuss AMC Television Deal TNA Wrestling

The TNA World Tag Team Champions have shared their thoughts on the recent television deal with the cable channel AMC.

It was recently announced that iMPACT would air on AMC in the United States from January next year.

With some episodes of the show being aired live, The Hardys have shared their thoughts on what it means to bring TNA to a new audience.

Speaking to Muscle Man Malcolm, Matt Hardy commented on the ‘AMC Era’ for TNA Wrestling, saying:

“It’s very cool and we’re so excited. We’re so excited because Jeff and I, when we came back to TNA, it was starting to have a resurgence.

“And, I feel like the moment Jeff showed up, whenever I wrestled Moose that night in Chicago, it’s when everything changed.

“It’s grown, it’s got bigger and bigger. We set a North American attendance record back at Slammiversary. We set another North American attendance record at Bound for Glory. We retired The Dudleys, one of our greatest rivals of all time.

“A lot of great things are going on and we are going to be live on AMC, which is a channel that is on every basic cable package.”

Jeff would note Matt’s ascertain that his arrival was a catalyst, with Matt going on to double-down, saying his brother “gets the credit” before talking about the level at which TNA Wrestling will be at, stating:

“There’s so many great things going on in TNA. The future is exciting and we are now on the same level as a WWE, an AEW, or whatever else, when it comes to network status.”

Jeff revealed that they didn’t know what was about to be announced when they were going through tables bearing the AMC logo for an advertisement, only knowing it was “something big”.

With AMC being the home of Breaking Bad, Matt would conclude by suggesting a TNA World Tag Team Champions match against Walter White and Gus Fring.
