A new report has revealed an update on former TNA X-Division Champion Speedball Mike Bailey’s contract status amid AEW signing rumors.
On the November 7 edition of TNA IMPACT, Moose defeated Speedball Mike Bailey to win the X-Division Championship.
Following the airing of the episode, reports indicated that Bailey was finishing up his contract with TNA Wrestling after three years with the promotion.
It was then revealed that Bailey is expected to be on his way to All Elite Wrestling when his contract with TNA expired, which you can read at this link here.
Fightful Select (subscription required) provided an update, noting that Speedball Mike Bailey going to AEW is the working plan, but his TNA Wrestling contract is not officially up.
Despite effectively finishing up with the company at the post-Bound For Glory TNA IMPACT tapings in Detroit, Speedball’s deal expires at the end of 2024. However, the former X-Division Champion was able to speak to outside companies starting in November.
It remains to be seen where Bailey will land when his TNA contract is up at the time of this writing.
WrestleTalk will provide any further updates on Speedball Mike Bailey’s TNA contract status when they become available.
