TNA Wrestling In Talks To Re-Sign Former Champion TNA

TNA Wrestling are reportedly in talks to re-sign a notable former champion on the company’s roster.

This year seen several big departures and arrivals in TNA Wrestling, with the likes of Jordynne Grace and Josh Alexander departing the company for WWE and AEW respectively and stars such as Mustafa Ali and Elijah officially signing contracts.

As well as these outgoings and incomings, TNA has also managed to re-sign the likes of Matt & Jeff Hardy, Nic Nemeth and AJ Francis to new deals in recent months and according to Fightful Select they are currently in negotiations with another prominent star.

TNA sources claimed to Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp that former TNA World Tag Team Champion Ace Austin is currently in talks regarding a new TNA contract, with the company hopeful of retaining him.

Fightful couldn’t confirm how far along these talks had gotten at this point, but we will provide updates in the future if more information becomes known.

TNA announced they had re-signed Austin in March 2024, with the 28 year old being featured on television regularly since then, most recently competing at TNA Unbreakable on April 17.

Fightful were also told that Austin’s ABC tag team partner Chris Bey’s TNA contract would have also been up by now, however there’s no word on how this will be handled following Bey’s serious neck injury in October.
