Following the October 27 IMPACT TV tapings, an update has been provided on TNA Wrestling star El Hijo del Vikingo’s injury.
At the October 26 TNA IMPACT TV taping from Detroit, El Hijo del Vikingo suffered a leg injury on a dive to the outside during a singles match against Trent Seven.
TNA Wrestling revealed in a statement that Vikingo returned to Mexico to receive treatment for his injury after hurting his right knee.
This followed Vikingo had been out of action with an injury since February 2024.
On October 31, El Hijo del Vikingo took to Instagram to provide an injury update. Posting a photo of himself receiving treatment, he wrote:
Sunday I had a strong blow on my right knee, thank God it doesn’t affect any ligament or muscle, I have to be on rest for 5 days in which it deflammatory, then start rehab until I’m 100% recovered, I’ll be out for 15 to 20 days, thanks to @luchalibreaaa @tnawrestling for keeping an eye out, thank you very much, also thank you to everyone who took the time to send me a message thank you
At the same TNA IMPACT TV taping, Chris Bey suffered a serious neck injury that caused him to be stretchered out.
