WWE/TNA Wrestling
A TNA Wrestling star has been sidelined with an injury and replaced by a former WWE Champion, making his return to the company.
Up until recently, KC Navarro was a member of First Cla$$, with his injury being revealed on the August 7 episode of TNA iMPACT.
During the show, it was announced that KC Navarro had ligament damage in his knee, with no timetable established for his on-screen return.
Navarro would go on to appear in a First Cla$$ Penthouse segment, in which he was unceremoniously removed from the group after he revealed he had an ACL tear and would require surgery.
AJ Francis would consider his teammates predicament, before introducing his “next man up” approach and welcoming the injured star’s replacement.
Rich Swann would then be revealed as the man to replace Navarro, having previously been a member of First Cla$$, alongside Francis, when it was created back in March last year.
A former WWE star, Rich Swann departed TNA Wrestling in April when his contract expired.
Swann signed with WWE in 2015 and would go on to hold the Cruiserweight Championship, departing from the company in February 2018.
