Former TNA Wrestling Name’s Next Move Revealed

Former TNA Wrestling ring announcer Jade Chung is heading to Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling to take up a new role in March 2025.

Chung became TNA Wrestling’s main ring announcer in January 2024 having previously serving as the ring announcer for Before The Impact and hosting pre-shows.

Departing the company in December 2024, Chung recently thanked the TNA Wrestling fans in her thank you message.

Chung’s absence won’t be a long one, however, with Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announcing she will be joining the broadcast team starting in March 2025.

Announcing the acquisition on Twitter, the official Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling account shared a hype reel for Chung’s arrival which can be seen below, along with the message:

“@JadeChung11 is joining the Broadcast Team of #MLPWrestling as we start the Road to Northern Rising in Windsor, Ontario with MLP MAYHEM on March 14-15!”

In August 2024, former WWE announcer Mauro Ranallo became “The Voice” of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling with a later announcement revealing AEW’s Don Callis as color commentator.

The revived MLPW was founded by former TNA president Scott D’Amore who had “informal conversations” during a tour of the WWE Performance Center in November 2024.

Chung’s husband, Josh Alexander, sees his TNA Wrestling contract expire in February 2025 with the former World Champion recently revealing scrapped plans for a WWE crossover.
