Former three-time TNA World Champion Moose believes the fans are the winner of the WWE NXT crossover partnership.
In May, TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace appeared on WWE NXT to kickstart a crossover with TNA Wrestling and challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship at Battleground.
Since then, Joe Hendry and The Rascalz have been spotlighted on WWE TV, while Wes Lee, Charlie Dempsey and Karmen Petrovic have all appeared on TNA IMPACT and pay-per-views.
One star who has yet to appear on WWE NXT at the time of this writing is former three-time TNA World Champion Moose.
In a new interview with Sports Illustrated and Tru Heel Heat Wrestling, Moose was asked about the WWE NXT partnership and who he would like to see come over to face in TNA. He answered:
“Me as a wrestler, I’m always down for any competition from anywhere. Whoever they got, their big dogs. Oba (Femi), bring him on. Trick (Williams), Ethan (Page), whoever you can think of. Like I’m down and I’m sure The System will say the same,”
“They have some great talents over there as we have on our side, so whoever they think would make a good matchup just bring them on and we’ll see how we pair up, but I think it’s great for the fans at the end of the day, the fans are the ones who win in this relationship.”
“I’m happy we have it, and I’m happy the fans get to see it and I can’t wait to see what the future produces.”
On the September 10 episode of WWE NXT, TNA Wrestling’s Jordynne Grace, Rosemary and Hammerstone all appeared on the show.
Also, NXT’s Wendy Choo will challenge Grace for the TNA Knockouts World Championship at TNA Victory Road on September 13.
Meanwhile, Moose will face Nic Nemeth for the TNA World Championship at the event.
