A TNA Wrestling star is looking to win one of the promotion’s titles back from a WWE talent who’s the current titleholder.
Despite Trick Williams recently dropping the TNA World Championship to Mike Santana, WWE and NXT still have hold of another top TNA Title.
NXT’s Kelani Jordan is the TNA Knockouts World Champion, and she retained the title against Jordynne Grace in the main event of last week’s NXT, turning heel in the process as she used the belt as a weapon.
Today, TNA’s Lei Ying Lee – formerly known as Xia Li in WWE – has called out Jordan and vowed to be the one to get the title back for TNA.
Lee said:
“Kelani Jordan. You brought shame to yourself and to the TNA Knockouts Title. You fought us, you act like a good person, and we all believed you.
“But last week, you cheated, you had to hit Jordynne Grace in the face with that title just to win.
“You should be ashamed of yourself. I will not let you shame our title. I will not let you drag down our division.
“So be prepared for the battle, because I will be the one who takes that Knockouts Championship from you.”
