A TNA Wrestling star has dropped a potential tease for the upcoming WWE NXT 25-man Battle Royal.
Last night’s edition of WWE NXT saw the special appearance of Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, who had a big announcement to make relating to the next challenger for Trick Williams’ NXT Championship.
Whilst in the ring with Williams, Rhodes announced that the number one contender for NXT’s top prize would be determined via a 25-man Battle Royal.
While this was an exciting enough announcement, Rhodes added further intrigue when he declared that stars from “other” locker rooms may enter the match also – opening up fans’ imaginations as to what company these mystery entrants could arrive from.
Given WWE’s recent working relationship with TNA Wrestling, which saw Knockout’s Champion Jordynne Grace compete at NXT Battleground – it seems likely we could see more stars from the company show up in NXT.
That’s what makes the latest tweet from TNA star Alex Hammerstone a curious one, as the timing of it seems to suggest he may indeed be one of these mystery entrants – or at the very least is intrigued by the idea of it.

Whether this was in relation to the announcement on NXT or not has not been confirmed by Hammerstone, so it seems as if everyone will have to tune in next Tuesday ( June 18) to get the answer.
