Former TNA World Champion Josh Alexander has addressed the possibility of working with his former tag-team partner, WWE’s Ethan Page.
With Alexander’s TNA Wrestling contract set to expire on February 15, there has been a lot of speculation about Alexander and Page potentially re-forming The North in WWE.
Speaking with Pro Wrestling Wire, the soon-to-be-former TNA star noted that he feels he and Page could do amazing business as teammates or rivals.
Commenting on potential WWE alliances and feuds, Alexander said:
“I mean either or. The chemistry works both ways I think. I think The North on Raw or SmackDown, you’re talking about some tag team rivalries and matches that I could get very excited about.
If you’re talking about NXT and me coming in to have a problem with Ethan Page and Ethan Page having a problem with me, I think that could do amazing business given our histories over the last 15 years and stuff like that together. There’s a lot of meat on the bone there.”
Alexander and Page last shared the ring at TNA Turning Point 2020, dropping the TNA (then IMPACT) Tag Team Champions to the Good Brothers.
Josh Alexander recently recalled scrapped plans for him to appear for WWE as part of the WWE-TNA Wrestling crossover, click here to read more.
