A TNA Wrestling star appears to be plotting an invasion of the WWE, assuming she can find appropriate attire.
The plot came after TNA Slammiversary saw NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne become a double champion, defeating Masha Slamovich for the Knockounts World Championship.
With Trick Williams also retaining the TNA World Championship against Joe Hendry and Mike Santana, the tally currently stands at two NXT stars holding titles outside of the company.
This is something that Steph De Lander appears to want to confront, and may be doing so on the upcoming episode of NXT.
Formerly WWE’s Persia Pirotta, De Lander took to Twitter to tease invading WWE, writing:
“I’m showing up on NXT in a Nexus shirt next Tuesday #Slammiversary”
The suggestion was met with much support from her fans, and suggestions that she make her way to SmackDown, where Wade Barrett serves on the commentary team.
Nexus were a faction from 2010 led by Wade Barrett, with David Otunga, Justin Gabriel, Heath Slater, Michael Tarver, Skip Sheffield, Darren Young and Daniel Bryan in the original lineup.
Heath Slater has previously called upon Triple H to bring back The Nexus, with fans still remembering them some fifteen years later.
De Lander signed with WWE in 2021 and would debut as Persia Perotti in NXT, remaining on the brand until her release in April 2022.
