A match with high stakes has been confirmed for TNA Wrestling Against All Odds on June 6, as a WWE NXT name stakes his claim to power.
With the May 22 episode of TNA iMPACT! seeing an in-ring debate between Director of Authority Santino Marella and NXT’s Robert Stone, a match between the pair has now been set.
This comes after weeks of jibes from Stone as he sought to undermine the authority figure in TNA Wrestling.
With the debate degenerating into chaos, including involvement from Tessa Blanchard, all of which can be seen below this news story, a match has now been set up to handle the issue.
As announced on the TNA Wrestling Twitter account, Marella and Stone will go one-on-one on June 6.
With Arianna Grace in Marella’s corner, Blanchard will be in the corner of Robert Stone.
An interesting stipulation has been confirmed for the bout, with the winner of the match to be declared the official TNA Director of Authority, the storyline role Marella has held since January 2023.
Elsewhere on the PPV, having defeated Joe Hendry, Trick Williams is defending his TNA World Championship against Mike Santana on the June 3 episode of NXT.
The winner of that match will go on to defend the title at TNA Against All Odds against Elijah.
Santana recently appeared on NXT, going to face Tavion Heights on this week’s episode and receiving “high marks” from sources in WWE.
BREAKING: @milanmiracle battles @MrStoneWWE at #TNAAgainstAllOdds on Friday, June 6 at 10 PM ET, LIVE on TNA+ from the Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona and the winner is officially the TNA Director Of Authority!
