Potential Challenger Vows To Save TNA Wrestling After Trick Williams Championship Win WWE/TNA

A potential title challenger has vowed to save TNA Wrestling following WWE NXT star Trick Williams winning the TNA World Championship.

There has been a lot of speculation about what’s next for Trick Williams, who defeated Joe Hendry to become the first active WWE star to win TNA Wrestling’s top title at NXT Battleground.

With some TNA Wrestling rivalries seemingly in Williams’ future, a future championship opponent has now made a bold statement.

Mike Santana has taken to Twitter to vow to save his home promotion, writing:

Woke up this morning feeling like I need to save @ThisIsTNA

AND I WILL.

Santana also appeared at NXT Battleground, having a backstage confrontation with No Quarter Catch Crew.

He also shared a photo of him watching Williams celebrate with the world championship which was shared by TNA Wrestling, confirming that he has his eyes on the gold.

Santana will make his WWE in-ring debut on the May 27 episode of NXT, against the No Quarter Catch Crew’s Tavion Heights.
