TNT’s “Rich & Shameless” season 2 is set to feature the Hulk Hogan and Gawker scandal.
TNT is set to debut a new season of the sports docuseries, “Rich & Shameless”on May 7. The synopsis for the series reads:
Rich & Shameless tells the true stories of the successes, failures, thrills and miseries that accompany wealth in the world of sport.
Season 2 will feature an episode on the infamous leaked Terry “Hulk Hogan” Bollea sex tape that was put online by Gawker in 2016.
Bollea sued Gawker, several Gawker employees and affiliates for posting portions of his sex tape. A portion of that tape revealed racist remarks that the WWE Hall of Famer made.
In 2016, the jury voted in Bollea’s favor and found Gawker liable. Bollea was awarded over $120 million in damages.
Starting off this season will be an episode on former NWO member and Chicago Bulls player Dennis Rodman and his “stolen millions.” Also, there will be an episode covering the murder of former NBA star Lorenzen Wright.
