NXT mainstay Tommaso Ciampa has been making several appearances on Raw in recent weeks as part of a feud with Dolph Ziggler.
Ciampa teamed with Finn Balor to defeat Ziggler and Robert Roode on this week’s Raw show, before losing to Ziggler on last night’s NXT show.
After the show went off the air, Bron Breakker fought the Dirty Dawgs off, leaving Ciampa alone in the ring. Ciampa took a microphone and gave a short, passionate speech to the NXT crowd, letting them know that he loves them.
Ciampa will be in action on next week’s NXT show, teaming with Breakker against Ziggler and Roode, but with him recently taking part in dark matches prior to Raw and SmackDown, as well as appearing on Raw, it sounded as if this was Ciampa giving his formal farewell to the brand.
