Prior to last Friday’s (January 7) episode of SmackDown, NXT stars Tommaso Ciampa and Pete Dunne took part in a dark match, which has led to speculation that they could be main roster bound.
Well, more fuel can be added to that fire, as PWInsider is reporting that both Ciampa and Dunne are present backstage at tonight’s WWE Raw taping in Philadelphia.
It is not known if both men will feature on the show, or if they are just backstage to take part in a dark match like they were on Friday.
Ciampa recently lost the NXT Championship to Bron Breakker at the NXT New Year’s Evil show, while Dunne is scheduled to face Tony D’Angelo in a Crowbar on a Pole match tomorrow night.
