As seen on last night’s episode of WWE Raw, Ronda Rousey and Kurt Angle got into a physical altercation with their WrestleMania opponents, Stephanie McMahon and Triple H. The segment concluded with a spot which saw Rousey taking McMahon out with a Samoan Drop.
Respected WWE and ECW veteran Tommy Dreamer offered feedback on what he considered a flawed delivery of the move.
Dear @RondaRousey Good job
Ask @TheRock @NiaJaxWWE @TaminaSnuka @WWERomanReigns @WWEUsos for Samoan drop help. You are trapping your own arm, causing opponent to land on ur arm & shoulder
will mess you up#CONCERNEDCitizen#RAW— Tommy Dreamer (@THETOMMYDREAMER) March 6, 2018
As ‘The Baddest Woman on the Planet’ makes her first steps inside the squared circle, her in-ring work is bound to be subject to criticism from fans as well as people within the industry. Regardless, her progression as a professional wrestler and her upcoming appearance at WrestleMania will be fascinating to watch.
