The future of the AEW Fight Forever video game series has been revealed by Tony Khan just over four years since its original announcement.
AEW Fight Forever was officially announced in November 2020 and would go on to be released on June 29, 2023.
Under the AEW Games banner, Fight Forever lives alongside mobile games Rise To The Top and Figure Fighters along with the All Elite Arcade podcast hosted by Adam Cole and Evil Uno.
Speaking to Mr. Wright Way,Tony Khan revealed the future of AEW’s video game ventures, saying:
“It was a great first entry with AEW Fight Forever, and people can still play Fight Forever all over the world.
“I think eventually absolutely we’ll still keep putting AEW games into the world.
“But right now we’re fully supporting [AEW Fight Forever] and we’re excited about it.
“There’s still more wrestlers and exciting things happening with the game and a lot of opportunities in the world of gaming.”

Released on Windows PC, Playstation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch, the Metacritic rating sits in the 60s with the Switch iteration holding a 57 score.
The game was developed by Yuke’s and published by THQ Nordic with it recently being reported that AEW is ‘strongly considering‘ a different developer for any future iterations.
The report notes that the original game was “over-budget and it under-delivered” upon its release in June 2023.
Season Pass Four of AEW Fight Forever was released in May 2024 and added Adam Copeland, Samoa Joe and Jay White to the roster, along with two new arenas, a new tournament mode among other additions.
