Unless you have been living under a rock for the last week, you have heard the news that broke last week regarding two certain free agents reportedly signing with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
The entire wrestling world has weighed in on the reports, except for AEW President Tony Khan himself. Khan recently spoke to Joseph Staszewsk of the New York Post, who asked him straight up about the big reports.
Khan’s response:
“I have no comment on those, but those are good questions but I can’t comment on those,”
Of course.
Khan continued:
“I can’t comment on those two guys, but I think there are certainly a lot of exciting rumors right now.”
Khan obviously wouldn’t come out and say for sure if the two had signed, as AEW likes to keep things under wraps as best as they can, but if they weren’t coming in, Khan could easily have squashed the rumours to cool expectations.
AEW allegedly plans to debut Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan) at the New York City show in Arthur Ashe Stadium, but those in AEW are now concerned about rising COVID-19 numbers affecting their scheduled shows.
