Tony Khan Provides Big AEW Media Rights Update After Collision & Rampage Tapings AEW, WBD

AEW President Tony Khan has provided a big update on the company’s media rights negotiations following last night’s Collision and Rampage tapings.

Throughout 2024 there has been continuous talk of where AEW’s programming will end up following the expiry of their existing TV deal with Warner Bros. Discovery at the end of 2024.

Despite the exclusivity negotiation window between AEW and WBD reportedly ending in late July, Khan has consistently suggested that the company are happy where they’re at on WBD – saying as much during the AEW All Out media scrum earlier this week.

Now, following last night’s AEW Collision & Rampage tapings at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL Khan provided the clearest indication yet that the company’s partnership with WBD was set to continue beyond 2024.

Addressing the live crowd, Khan said:

“I feel pretty good to say AEW on TBS and TNT I think is here to stay.”

Although Khan’s comments suggest an agreement is near, no official announcement from AEW or WBD has been made at this time.
