Tony Khan And TBS Respond To This Week’s AEW Dynamite Ratings Success

AEW President Tony Khan thanks the fans following this week’s Dynamite earning their largest viewership since September.

This week’s episode of Dynamite brought in 1.129 million viewers, which was the highest since the September 29 edition.

Khan tweeted expressing gratitude for the ratings success, saying:

Thank you to everyone who watched #AEWDynamite yesterday, thanks to you + your support Dynamite on @TBSNetwork ranked #1 on cable Wednesday with our biggest total audience since September, we’re grateful for you wrestling fans! See you tomorrow on @TNTdrama at Friday #AEWRampage!

TBS also sent out a press release stating:

Last night’s “AEW: Dynamite” was live from Atlantic City, NJ, with AEW World Champion Hangman Page taking on the “Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer in a Texas Death Match, Isiah Kassidy facing new free agent signee Keith Lee in a Face of the Revolution qualifying match, Chris Jericho convening an Inner Circle Team Meeting, and MJF’s remarks after his shocking win over CM Punk last week in Chicago.

Dynamite scored a 0.41 rating in the key 18-49 demographic with 541,000 total viewers.

According to Showbuzz Daily, All Elite Wrestling finished #1 in cable over the Winter Olympics coverage on USA Network, two NBA games on ESPN and an all-new South Park on Comedy Central.

The show featured the hyped debut of Keith Lee and NJPW’s “Switchblade” Jay White walking through the forbidden door. Also, Hangman Page defeated Lance Archer in a Texas Death Match to retain the AEW World Title.
