AEW President Tony Khan has addressed the future of Big Boom AJ following his debut during the Full Gear 2024 Zero Hour.
In what was a much-hyped crossover appearance for AEW, AJ of the Costco Guys made his in-ring debut during the pre-show of Full Gear in Newark, New Jersey.
AJ, who previously competed as an independent wrestler two decades ago, defeated AEW’s QT Marshall in the bout, with the help of his son Big Justice and The Rizzler.
The TikTok sensations earned a great response from the crowd inside the Prudential Center, and during the Full Gear post-show media scrum, Khan addressed AJ’s future.
Liam Crowley of ScreenRant asked Tony Khan whether we could expect to see more of AJ in AEW in the future, to which Khan and AJ said:
Tony Khan: “Please come back.”
AJ: “I love it here. I do. I love it here. I loved every minute of this. If I’m welcomed back, I’m going to be back and I’m going to bring the Boom!”
Tony Khan: “You are welcome back.”
