Madison Rayne is headed to All Elite Wrestling and it was announce she’ll be making her in-ring debut on the August 5 edition of Rampage.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio before Rayne’s debut match was announced on Dynamite, Khan said of the newly acquired coach:
“I’m really excited. I think she’s gonna be great for the team, and she’s excited… Everybody’s really excited to have Madison Rayne as part of AEW…
“I’m not saying she wouldn’t wrestle anymore, and obviously, we’re kinda open to it. We have other people in the office who do wrestle as part of their schedule, so I’m definitely open to it. I haven’t talked a lot about it right now, because I’m primarily focused on the whole company, but yeah, it’s definitely something I’m really open to and would actually like.”
Rayne’s opponent for Friday wasn’t announced.
Also on the match card for Friday’s live version of AEW Rampage, a match pitting AEW Interim World Champion Jon Moxley against another wrestling icon in Mance Warner.
Also announced tonight, more matches for next Wednesday’s (August 10) Quake By The Lake edition of AEW Dynamite.
