Tony Khan Addresses Eddie Kingston AEW Status AEW

Tony Khan has addressed Eddie Kingston’s AEW status.

On Wednesday’s March 1 episode of AEW Dynamite, Eddie Kingston was booked for the Face of the Revolution Ladder Match, which he wasn’t a fan of, but “The Mad King” never even made it into the ring and got into a backstage brawl with Ortiz.

Following the show, Kingston said that he “quit” All Elite Wrestling in a social media exclusive interview.

During the AEW Revolution media call, Tony Khan was asked about Kingston’s AEW status. He answered:

“I have talked to Eddie since [Wednesday], and I would encourage people to stay tuned to pro wrestling. Stay tuned to AEW and other forms of pro wrestling.”

“Of course, there are a lot of exciting things happening in the sport, in AEW, and also out metaverse of pro wrestling, including New Japan and the launch of the new Ring of Honor.”

“A lot of exciting things happening. I have had the chance to talk to Eddie about that and I say stay tuned to the wrestling business and you’ll see what happens next.”

The first episode of ROH TV premieres tonight March 2 on HonorClub. Kingston has been on the advertisements for tonight’s show.

AEW Revolution is this Sunday and will be headlined by MJF defending the AEW World Championship against Bryan Danielson in a 60 minute Iron Man match.
