**The following article contains spoilers for upcoming episodes of AEW Dark**
AEW President Tony Khan is reportedly ‘very excited’ about the formation of a new faction that features former WWE names.
During the July 16 AEW Dark tapings, Slim J, former NXT star Parker Boudreaux (fka Harland) and ex WWE name Ari Daivari (Ariya Daivari) formed an alliance.
Per Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, Khan is optimistic about the future of the group.
Noting that Khan is unsure whether he will keep the act on AEW, or have the stars become ROH regulars, Meltzer said:
“So Tony Khan had an idea for a trio called the Trust Busters and the idea was that Ariya Daivari is now Ari Daivari, and the idea is that on July 4th his trust came in and now he is rich.
“The first thing he did was bring in Slim J, who is a good wrestler who has been around for a long long time, but anyway, he was brought in and then the third member of the group that was brought in was Parker Boudreaux who was Harland in NXT who was recently fired.
“They debuted on the Dark tapings and I know Tony Khan was very excited about it. No decision has been made whether it’ll be for Ring of Honor or for AEW.”

Boudreaux was released from his WWE NXT contract in April.
While Daivari hasn’t wrestled for WWE since June 2021, he recently worked as a probationary backstage producer. Recent reports revealed that WWE stopped calling him in due to budget cuts.
