AEW
Next week’s episode of AEW Dynamite is set to serve as the Dynamite Anniversary show, celebrating the three year anniversary of the first episode of AEW Dynamite.
Announced for the show are several big matches, including Bryan Danielson teaming with Daniel Garcia to take on Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara of the Jericho Appreciation Society, as well as the Acclaimed celebrating ‘National Scissoring Day’.
The episode is a big special show, and TBS has allowed the show to overrun on Wednesday.
Per Tony Khan on Twitter, next week’s episode of the show is set to run for two hours and fifteen minutes rather than the usual hard cut off time of 10pm that the show has every other week.
To celebrate 3 years of @AEWonTV, the #AEWDynamite anniversary show this Wednesday has 15 minutes extra runtime, 2:15 total! + #BattleOfTheBeltsIV LIVE next Friday after a live Rampage! Thank you @WBD for the special anniversary next week! See you TONIGHT for #AEWRampage on TNT
This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was the first episode since All Out to draw below a million viewers, pulling in a total 990,000 viewers instead.
Next week’s show is set to feature MJF’s first AEW match since his defeat to Wardlow back at AEW Double or Nothing, taking on Wheeler Yuta, and Darby Allin going one on one with Jay Lethal.
