AEW President has hyped up his upcoming Dynamite announcement as one of the most important announcements in the promotion’s history.
Tony Khan often makes announcements on episodes of AEW Dynamite, so much so that Khan announcing announcements has pretty much become its own meme.
Speaking with Sports Illustrated, Khan has noted that the announcement he’ll make on the April 5 episode will be revealing something he’s dreamed about for years.
Discussing the upcoming announcement, Khan said:
“This is something I’ve dreamed of for years.
“It’s a huge milestone for AEW, and I can’t wait to talk about it.
“There will be fans around the world who will be excited—it is one of the most important announcements ever in AEW.”
Wednesday’s episode will be a big one, with FTR challenging for The Gunns’ AEW Tag Team Championship in a bout in which if they lose, they leave AEW.
