Tony Khan Comments On ‘Delete The Elite’ Vignettes Ahead Of AEW Full Gear AEW

Tony Khan has commented on the “Delete The Elite” vignettes ahead of AEW Full Gear.

The Elite’s Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks have not been seen on AEW television since the All Out pay-per-view.

After defeating Hangman Page, John Silver and Alex Reynolds to become the first AEW World Trios Champions on the show, the trio got into a reported backstage brawl with CM Punk and Ace Steel that caused Tony Khan to pull them from TV.

However, vignettes teasing the return of The Elite have aired on AEW Dynamite with clips of current Trios Champs Death Triangle also included.

Speaking with DAZN, AEW President Tony Khan briefly shared his thoughts on the vignettes and said that they raised questions about Death Triangle.

Seemingly noting that Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks are behind the vignettes, he said:

“It raises some questions about Death Triangle and what The Elite are trying to say in these videos.”

Fans will be waiting to see if The Elite’s return will go down on tonight’s edition of Dynamite when Death Triangle defend the AEW World Trios Championships against Top Flight and AR Fox.

The November 16 edition of Dynamite will also feature Ethan Page will face Bandido in the Full Gear Eliminator Tournament Semifinals.

Also, Bryan Danielson will team with Claudio Castagnoli to face ROH World Champion Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara.

This will serve as the Full Gear go-home episode with this Saturday’s event in Newark, New Jersey. For the full lineup for Full Gear 2022, click here.
