AEW President and CEO Tony Khan has commented on a potential WWE and AEW show “in the next 100 years.”
Since the inception of All Elite Wrestling in 2019, many fans have wondered if wrestling fans would ever see them work with WWE for a joint show.
With WWE being more open than ever to work with various promotions such as TNA Wrestling and Marigold, the possibility of the two biggest companies in pro wrestling working together has gained more traction.
Appearing on Maggie & Perloff, Tony Khan was asked to predict the future on whether fans could see an AEW and WWE show. He answered:
“I can’t say ever. Anything could happen at some point. It’s hard to say. What’s the timeline? In the next 100 years, quite possibly,”
When Maggie asked, “how about in the next five years?” Khan replied:
“That seems far less likely.”
