Tony Khan Praises WWE ‘Improvement’ Under Triple H WWE

AEW President Tony Khan has shared his honest thoughts on the WWE product following Triple H taking over creative in July.

Triple H currently oversees all aspects of WWE creative as the company’s Chief Content Officer. Fans have noticed a number of changes to WWE TV in recent months, under the new regime.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Tony Khan noted that he has noticed some significant improvements to the WWE product under Triple H.

Discussing the management change, Khan said:

“I definitely am always up for the challenge, and I think there have been elements that have seen a big improvement there. I’ve been open to saying that. I think there’s been a lot of improvements there. I definitely think for us, we’ve had a lot of improvements too in recent weeks.

“I think we’re both very competitive and have been competitive in the past obviously. I think in this case now, hopefully it’s going to be good for everybody. There’s probably a bit more similarity in what we’re looking for in terms of the profile of a free agent, which I think is already gonna start being a thing. So we’ll see how this goes.”

A number of stars have returned to WWE following Triple H taking over creative. Recently, Bray Wyatt made his anticipated comeback in the closing moments of the Extreme Rules premium live event. A day later on the October 10 edition of Raw, Karl Anderson & Luke (Doc) Gallows of the Good Brothers aligned themselves with AJ Styles, reuniting The OC.
