WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff has made news recently due to his rather critical analysis of the AEW product and it’s president Tony Khan.
Bischoff has made several appearances on AEW TV in the past, most notably as part of Chris Jericho’s feud with Orange Cassidy in 2020.
Tony Khan recently spoke about Bischoff on the Corner Podcast, where he spoke about his previous relationship with him during Bischoff’s appearances in the company, and how he’d react if he saw him today.
He said:
“I haven’t spoken a bad word to him because we haven’t talked in a while, but I liked Eric when we talked and I’ve said this before, if I saw him right now, I think we’d probably shake hands and talk. He just started saying some pretty negative stuff around the time CM Punk came in and I didn’t think it was really fair and he’s talked about investments and financial stuff, but he doesn’t really understand our financials.”
Khan recently revealed that this year’s Double or Nothing event drew in an estimated 155,000 buys, which is the most in the history of the event.
