With a lot of hype around tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan has spoken out on how one appearance came together at the last minute.
Writing on Twitter about his comments from last week, where he specifically said used the term “forbidden door”, Khan wrote:
“I didn’t secure @JayWhiteNZ until Sunday. I realized after the fact that Friday night I butchered my own definition Forbidden Door in hyping tonight. I heard the fans’ feedback, & wanted to ensure that tonight was a special #AEWDynamite for all. Thank you everyone who watched!”
The historic night for AEW with Dynamite saw the AEW debut of Keith Lee and the much anticipated ‘forbidden door’ appearance by NJPW’s Jay White, setting up another Khan tease, the card for this Friday’s Rampage.
Featuring on Rampage, Roppongi Vice versus the Young Bucks with a likely reappearance of White as his appearance segment included all of the aforementioned and Adam Cole promised the Bucks in a backstage segment that they could trust White… we shall see.
