Tony Khan Confirms Santana Has Suffered Knee Injury AEW

AEW President Tony Khan has confirmed that Santana suffered a knee injury during Dynamite: Blood & Guts.

During the June 29 show, The team of the Blackpool Combat Club, Eddie Kingston, Santana & Ortiz defeated the Jericho Appreciation Society in the titular match.

Santana appeared to pick up an injury shortly after entering the bout, leaving some concerned for his health.

On Busted Open, Tony Khan confirmed that Santana is dealing with a knee injury. Khan didn’t disclose much about the injury, but said that “it could be a relatively long injury.”

Earlier this week, Santana made his first public comments since Blood & Guts, taking to Twitter to note:

Numerous top AEW names are currently out of action due to injuries including Bryan Danielson, Adam Cole and AEW World Champion CM Punk.
