Wrestling fans have spent the last two days theorizing who the major surprise signing will be at AEW Revolution. There have been a fair few details provided, such as being a Hall of Fame-worthy wrestler. Now, Tony Khan has provided another hint.
Appearing on Busted Open Radio, Khan noted that the surprise AEW signing is one of his favorite wrestlers of all time. He also added that “he’s gonna do great things for us”. This would seem to confirm that the signing is a male.

While the most popular theories have included the likes of CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, and Kurt Angle, we still won’t know who the signing is until the event itself. However, Punk has denied that the signing is him. So that’s one name crossed off the list.
This all started when Paul Wight made his first appearance on this week’s AEW Dynamite. He said he had a major scoop that a Hall of Fame-worthy star was signing with All Elite Wrestling at Revolution. Since then, Tony Khan has put out numerous quotes hyping up the arrival of the unnamed star.
